Overview: This 7-day Tanzania safari is designed specifically for families, with engaging wildlife experiences, kid-friendly lodges, and flexible schedules. You'll explore Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti—Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations—while enjoying comfort, safety, and fun for all ages.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your family will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxed evening with spacious gardens and a family suite.

Overnight: Arusha Serena Hotel or Mount Meru Game Lodge

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Spot giraffes, zebras, and maybe a lion! Enjoy a picnic lunch and a short nature walk near the lodge.

Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge (family tent) or Lemala Mpingo Ridge

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Tree-Climbing Lions & Forest Walk

Explore Lake Manyara’s diverse ecosystem, from forests to wetlands. Kids will love the playful monkeys and colorful birds. Visit a local Maasai village to learn about culture and traditions.

Overnight: Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or Gibbs Farm

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – The Big Five Adventure

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to black rhinos, lions, flamingos, and hippos. Children can enjoy wildlife bingo and storytelling from your family-friendly guide.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild

Drive to Serengeti with game viewing en route. Enjoy a relaxed evening in camp, where kids can roast marshmallows over the fire and hear stories from the guide.

Overnight: Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge or Lemala Ewanjan Camp

Day 6: Serengeti Game Drives & Bush Picnic
